Quick-drying liquid polymer-bituminous primer 4,5 kg for priming surfaces before applying various bituminous waterproofing coatings.
Quick drying and rain resistant just in 20 minutes. Can be used on damp surfaces. Safe for polystyrene. Safe for the environment, without solvents – non-flammable, odorless. Suitable for concrete, cement, plaster, wood, OSB, bituminous and metal surfaces.
Application
– priming mineral substrates (concrete, cement, brick, plaster), wood and OSB, bitumen and metal substrates
– priming substrates for bitumen roof coverings (Self-adhesive bitumen felt and thermoweldable roofing
paper, bituminous mastics, roof coatings)
– priming thermo-weldable and self-adhesive foundation bitumen felts and hydro isolation mastics
– improving adhesion and load-bearing capacity of inconsistent substrates, e.g. repaired bitumen coverings
Prior to application, read safety instruction presented in MSDS.
Surface preparation
Before application dust the substrate, remove loose materials, secure cracks and defects.
Substrates should be free from grease, oil and rust.
The substrate can not be frozen or frosted. Humid substrates are allowed yet standing water should be avoided.
Remove any loose materials, sharp edges, substances hindering adhesion and dust. Remove rust from metal surfaces.
When priming roofing paper with mineral granules, all unbound minerals should be removed as well as moss and lichens and other coatings reducing adhesion.
Application
The product is ready to use. When applied on absorbent substrates it can be diluted with water at a volume ratio of 1:1 and for highly absorbent substrates at 1:2 ratio.
Before use stir lightly.
The product can be applied with brush, roller or by airless spraying. Recommended parameters: 519 nozzle, capacity 2,3 l/min ( (for larger works recommended above 4 l/min), nozzle with a hole of 0.019“ (0.48 mm), 180- 190 bar pressure.
Works after completion of application
Clean the tools in a soap and water solution. Clean mechanically after hardening.
Remarks / restriction
Primer can not be used during rain or frost.
Drying time depends on type of substrate, temperature and humidity.
Products is not intended both for food contact and medical applications. The products has not been tested nor submitted for acceptance tests and medical applications pharmaceutical.
Product is not dedicated to use on sensitive surfaces e.g. copper and its alloys as it may cause discoloration.
Product is packaged in 18 kg, 9 kg and 4,5 kg pails. Store up to 18 months in original sealed packaging at +5 °C to +30 °C.
Protect from frost and avoid temperatures above 35 °C and direct sunlight. Store and transport at a temperature of not less than 5 °C.
