This is an one-component bituminous-polymer filler dedicated to even cavities, scratches and holes before waterproofing, for fixing polystyrene boards to the surface and for repairing various bituminous roof coverings. Creates waterproof, durable and elastic joints. Adheres to concrete, galvanized sheet, PS and XPS boards, bituminous coatings and OSB boards. Quick drying and rain resistant after just 2 hours.
Application:
– filling and levelling of the substrate
– filling damages, scratches and cracks
– spot repairs and sealings of roof coverings
– gluing the polystyrene boards
Prior to application, read safety instruction presented in MSDS.
The surface should be clean and even, dry (may be slightly damp), and free of grease and other particles reducing adhesion, also without build-ups and mechanical damage. Prime the surface with Rapid Hydro Defence Primer.
The works should be performed in good weather, at the ambient temperature and the surface temperature between +5 °C and +35 °C. Fresh works should be protected against rain and frost.
Putty
Apply the filler with a spatula in strips up to 10 mm thick. Apply thinner layers at high temperatures. When caulking through the joints, reinforce the area with 15 cm of dipped polyester fiber on each side with a weight of about 80 g/m2. Cover the filled areas with roof covering or Rapid Hydro Defence Mastic. Consumption: about 1.2 kg/m2 when the thickness is 1 mm. Initial drying time: 2 hours, complete drying depends on the thickness of the filler – about 2 mm. per day at a temperature of +20 °C.
Fixing
Apply the filler with dots or strips on the side of the heat-insulating panels to be fixed. Wait about 10 min. and press against the surface. Hydrophobized thermal insulation panels must be sanded before gluing. It is not suitable for gluing large surfaces of two non-absorbent materials.
Product is packaged in 5 kg pails. Store up to 18 months in original sealed packaging at +5 °C to +30 °C.
Protect from frost and avoid temperatures above 35 °C and direct sunlight. Store and transport at a temperature not lower than +5 °C.
